Outside of the government funded training via Bolsover SSP we can offer a cycling pathway that all children can take part in from age 5 to 11:

Balance bike sessions.

Each session can accommodate 3 groups of 12 children (36 children).

We bring bikes and all equipment needed.

Two hour playground session to develop cycling skills for around 20 children (depending on playground size).

Each session costs £180.00 plus £1 per trainee for the award. Schools will be invoiced by BSSP.

Children need their own bike, we don't supply bikes for Level 1.

Year 5 or 6

Bikeability Level 2

Children are taken out onto local quiet roads in groups of up to 12. Usually over a full day and a morning.

BSSP has allocated each school a number of free places, schools can pay for more places if needed at £40.00 per trainee. Schools will be invoiced by BSSP.

We can supply bikes for children that don't have their own. Schools will be charged £10.00 per bike by Bolsover SSP.

All students taking part in Bikeability funded training will receive the appropriate Bikeability award.

Bikeability Fix

Schools can 'buy in' a pre Bikeability Level 2 maintenance session led by our qualified cycle mechanics. Participants are shown how to repair a puncture and adjust brakes and gears. Its a great introduction to cycle maintenance and ensures their bikes are prepared for Level 2 training. £200 per group of up to 12 trainees which includes a certificate and puncture repair kit for each participant.

All Wheely Fun Wheels instructors are trained National Standard Cycling instructors.

They all have current DBS and first aid certification.
